In Nephi there is a huge celebration that happens the second weekend in July. It is called the UTE STAMPEDE!! It has been a family tradition since I was a little girl. I love this time of year!! It's like a little vacation! Something to look forward to. You don't have to worry about anything! I just love it! Thursday is the Horse Parade then the Rodeo, Friday is the big Mammoth Parade then the Rodeo, and Saturday is the Bathing Beauty Parade and the Rodeo. Thursday we took the kids to the Horse Parade and they watched all the horses walk down Mainstreet. Alot of the people threw candy and Tyler filled up his hat full!! Kyle was the cutest because he loved watching all the horses. He would jump up and down and squeel!! It was really cute. Friday we took the kids to the Mammoth Parade! They loved it just because of the candy but it was GREAT! Saturday we had a big party at my sister Abby's house. Her inlaws were coming to the Rodeo so we thought we would make a big water party out of it. We rented a waterslide and had a blast!! Like 10 min into the thing Abby had to take the kids down the slide and by the time she was done she had all the kids crying!! It was Hilarious!!! (She's just getting me back for all the times I tortured her kids!! Like kiss them until they cry!! I loved it!!)
Then all sunburned, tired, and sore Justin Tyler and I went to the Rodeo. At the beginning they have a skydiver jump from an airplane holding an American Flag, and then he lands in the arena!! It's my favorite part of the Rodeo!! Justin likes the Steer Wrestling. He says he could do it!! I think it would be fun to see him try! Tyler's favorite part was the Steer Wrestling too! He wanted to have a turn. He said he wanted to bam them to the ground!! It was cute!! Then for the bull riding they set off fireworks!! It was awesome! Tyler said he wanted the lights to go out again. He was getting a little tired of just sitting there so Justin went walking with him and he fell asleep!! Overall the Rodeo was a blast!!
