Gardner Village

My Mom, Abby, Bailee, Zoey, and I went up to Salt Lake and visited Gardner Village. Bailee had a little scavenger hunt to find certain witches so we looked at all the witches and wrote them down. If you find all the witches then you can get a free cookie. Then we looked at the little shops that they have there. It was really fun. Zoey had a lot of fun with just her mom. It was fun to just have a day with the girls.

After Gardner Village we all went to lunch at the Pizza Factory in Provo. This made Zoey feel like such a big girl. She was so much fun the whole time, and she was pretty good considering how early we left and how long we were gone.

So it was a really fun mother daughter day!

General Conference

We got the opportunity to go to Conference again this year. It was really fun, and nice. This year we did something a little different. Since Justin doesn't have to work on Fridays we decided to spend the afternoon at Temple Square and take some pictures of our little family. It was so much fun. We arrived at Temple Square at 2:30 p.m. and walked around the Conference Center.

Then we went to the top of the Church Office Building and looked down at the city. The kids thought that it was really cool. Then we took the kids picture on the wedding block looking at the Salt Lake Temple. After that we went on the grounds and the kids got to touch the doors. They were soo excited that they got to actually touch the Temple. Every door we came to they had to touch the doors. Next we went in the Visitors Center and looked at the statue of Jesus. Tyler was so cute he went up to the statue and started to talk to him. He told him about the temple, how much fun he was having, and that he loved him. It was really sweet. When we left Zoey waved goodbye and said "Bye Jesus!" Then we rode tracks to the Gateway to eat dinner at the food court. They thought that it was really cool to ride a "train." Our last stop was Wal-Mart so we could get some food to eat for the weekend. It was 7:30 p.m. when we headed to the hotel. By the end of the night we were sooo tired we said hello to my family at the hotel and then crashed. It was a busy day, but I think a great way to start off the spiritual weekend. It was a good conference this year and everyone seemed to be talking directly to me. We had a rough afternoon on Saturday, and the ride home on Sunday was pretty eventful too. Linsey's car broke down so we crammed them into our car along with the 4 kids we already had. (Jeremy and Bailee added to our 2) Maybe some changes will have to be made for the next one. So despite all the road blocks it was a great conference.
