So for the Pioneer weekend we went to my sister Linsey's house. It was lots of fun!! We stayed there for about 4 days. In Newcastle they have a parade, program, lunch, and water fun at the church! It was neat that a little town like Newcastle could have such a big shindig like that! The kids had lots of fun. Tyler would not go down the waterslide at all! Which totally surprised me cause he is like a daredevil!! Oh boy, not when it came to this waterslide! He was really cranky for some reason! Kyle on the other hand had a ball!! He just kept going down that slide smiling and laughing the whole time!! It was cute!! Rachel was anxious to get in her swimsuit and play in the water, but when it came down to it she wouldn't do it either! I guess they all needed naps! Oh well, we had lots of fun!! We made a lot of good memories that weekend!

Let the record show that Tyler was afraid to do something. I never thought the day would come when that little guy would be too scared. He jumps off the treehouse, climbs up ropes, and keeps up with the older kids. He holds his own and then I come to find out he is a scardy cat at heart. At least you had fun.
Holidays are such fun and make good memories especially when you can share them with your family. It is fun to see what other towns do on these holidays and not always stay with the what you are used to. Tyler wasn't scare, He was just being careful that day.
