I can not believe it!! My first born is now 3 years old!! I thought Zoey turning 1 was horrible, but I really think that this is worse. He is understanding more, and he knows now exactly what buttons to push! The other day he told me he didn't like me for the first time! I thought I was going to cry. I know it won't be the first time. Atleast he hasn't told me he hated me yet! So Saturday we had his birthday. We took the kids on a treasure hunt and they got a little goody bag with prizes and candy in it. It was fun. Tyler loves all of his presents.
He got tools from us, a big dinosaur set from my mom, a spiderman motorcycle from Linsey, and a gun that makes shooting noises when you pull the trigger from Abby. He also got a package from Grandma and Grandpa Stoker!! He got 3 pairs of clothes and 3 books!! He loves the books! Last night Justin read him the Little Bear story about him going to sleep, and Tyler actually fell asleep listening to it. It was cute! Then we had cake!! MAN, making a homemade cake is so hard. He demanded that he had a basketball cake! I couldn't find a cute basketball cake at any of the stores so I made one from scratch!! If Linsey didn't help me I probablly would have gone gray with stress!!
It turned out cute and Tyler absolutely loved it! All in all I think Tyler had a great birthday party that any 3 year old could ask for! It was fun doing it for him too! It's crazy how the years sneak up on you. Too bad it can't stop!

It is always fun to see what Tyler is going to do next. He has so much energy. I wish he would give me some. His birthday was fun and the cooking jag was great but tiring also. You can cry now but wait until they are old enough to leave home, then the crying really begins.
I totally for got that it was tyler's b-day. I'm glad that all went well and I think that you did a great job with the cake. I'm totally impressed that you made 2 cakes I would have just done one. I need your email address so that I can send you and evite to my blog.
Tyler is so cute. I wish we could of been there to celebrate with him. I'm glad he liked the books. The cakes turned out really good. You are more creative then I was. I usually frosted a cake and threw a few M&M's on it and called it good!! We miss you all and love you very much!!
That weekend was alot of fun. I am going to agree with mom when she says that the all day cooking was tiring. I am still getting over it(not really). Tyler is so cute. He makes me laugh everytime I see him.
