1 and 1/2 years!!
Back in August of 2008 I posted about Tyler breaking his leg. My mom commented that we needed to take bets on when the next hospital visit would be. Well Tyler was about 2 1/2 then and he is 4 now so I figure it's been 1 and 1/2 years since he has been to the hospital.
Before Tyler could go to school he had to have a physical. We took him to the doctor and he asked if Tyler's testicles dropped. (They should drop by the age of 4) We didn't think anything of it and said yes but the dr told us the next time he had a bath or we got him dressed to just check. Well a couple days later Tyler was in the tub and Justin checked him. He came in the room and told me that they hadn't dropped. I was in denial and put it off for a couple months until I checked so I made an appointment. The dr checked him and then we scheduled an ultra sound. 2 weeks later he had his ultra sound and they found them way up by his bladder. Tyler was really brave and pretty cute. So we scheduled a follow up appointment and the dr said we needed to do surgery. He said we needed to see a urologist up at Primary Childrens. We called the urologist which is funny cause he is the same dr that took care of Tylers uritors when he had his first surgery. The dr checked him out and told us we needed to schedule a date for surgery. We made the date for March 19.
So March 18th we spent the night at Leah's (thank you so much by the way) and was at the hospital at 8:15 a.m. and was out of the hospital by 1 p.m. The nurses and the dr told us that he was going to be sore and in pain for a couple days and that he couldn't have anything between his legs for 2 weeks. They gave us pain killers and told us that he would want to take it easy. YEAH RIGHT!! We are talking about Tyler here. He was jumping on the tramp the very next day, riding his scooter, playing, and having a GREAT time. Nothing slows this kid down.
So ya, it took Tyler a year and half to get back to the hospital. Let's hope that this is the end of our visits for a long time!

LOL, I love Tyler! I love how he is always (exept for on bad days) Sooo VERY happy and wanting to get out there and play with everyone! I love ya Tyler!! Love, Aunt Sheridy
He is so cute and brave. He just rolls with the flow and makes the best of it. That is a very good quality. I love him bunches too. He can be so loving when he wants to be. We will cross his fingers about the next hospital visit.
I think I am going to nickname him "The Bulldozer" Nothing can stop him!!! But he'll also crawl up on my lap and cuddle just because. He's great!! Still, I'm betting he'll be back in the hospital for something. THat kid has NO FEAR!
